Hey, so you're here. And I am so glad that you have landed here. This page is a little bit more informal, intended as a small blurb area where you can get to know me more.
Driving to Las Vegas for a gorgeous vintage Milo Baughman piece. Making my personal etagere dreams come true. I ended up packing the car with far more things, all of which I have sold on marketplace!
Something I didn't really know about myself until quarantine hit was how much I enjoyed learning the history of things. I listen when people are excited to tell me about objects, I'm fascinated with where they have been, how far they have come, and where they have ended up. But once upon a time before quarantine this meant a small google search, absorbing some information told to me in a blur while I spoke to someone about their passions. Then quarantine hit and we had TIME. Yes, so much time. I tried to restore furniture during that time but after a few items were painted I did feel pained. I am a bit of a traditionalist. There is nothing wrong with loving to paint old wood but it wasn't for me. I began to research what I liked and found a name for it. Hollywood Regency design, Postmodernism, Memphis, and Postmodern Hollywood Regency. I realized once I knew what to look for I had an entire world open up to me and the next three years to focus and explore its meaning.
