After curating this area and posting this table for sale in this specific prop style it sold in under 48 hours. Over the course of searching for postmodern items, going to Las Vegas, Chicago, Tennessee, and more for items I also started to understand how the furniture I was collecting was meant to be presented. I followed other designers, resellers, and groups on Facebook. I embarked on a journey not only of finding items to sell but also in photography and set design. I learned basic Photo skills in a community college course and applied them. This made my Facebook Marketplace take off within a month. I suddenly had an understanding of the items and the way to present them to people.
These nets were a solid Facebook Marketplace find that cost twenty dollars. Previously they were a window dressing for a high end designer store on Rodeo Drive. An employee there took them home and ended up never using them for an art piece. In a poorly lit shot on Facebook Marketplace I saw their promise. Swinging over to West Hollywood I picked them and realized I had something special. After a few hours of deliberation my best friend and I got to work hanging them for the ultimate office entrance. Three hours later we finished. We call it, "The Portal," because as we enter the doorway we find ourselves in another world.
Purchase from us via Facebook marketplace or the Melrose Swap Meet every fourth Sunday of the month.
